研究成果

主要从事树木年轮学、气候学和生态学研究。在我国西北干旱半干旱地区开展了较为系统的树轮学研究,主要学术贡献如下:1)发现研究区树轮宽度主要响应区域湿度和水文变化;并结合观测和模拟研究探讨了其生物学机制;2)重建了黄河上游近1200多年径流变化,发现了历史时期主要的干旱事件;3)利用树轮记录系统开展了PDSI湿度变化重建研究,并点面结合重建了研究区近几百年到近千年的干旱变化历史;4)开展了极端温度的树轮气候学研究,重建了黄河源区的温度变化,发现该区域最高最低温存在非对称变化现象;并探讨了森林上线对气候变化的响应。先后主持五项国家自然科学基金项目、一项973项目的课题、一项教育部“新世纪优秀人才支持计划”项目和博士点基金及多项国际合作项目,参加了多项“973”项目和国家自然科学基金委重点项目等重要科学研究项目,是国家基金委“创新群体”先后三期的骨干成员。近年来在国内外核心刊物上发表研究论文130篇,其中在SCI收录的刊物上发表81(第一作者和通讯作者55),发表在一区和二区的SCI论文32篇。鉴于上述工作和成果,获得多项省部级科技奖励。
