研究成果

查清沉积物来源/运输过程和从沉积物中提取古气候和构造信息是地学研究的两个基本内容。然而基于不同指标得出的物源、古气候或者构造信息经常互相矛盾,阻碍了学科的进一步发展。造成指标间相互矛盾的主要原因在于不同的代用指标往往同时受多个因素的影响,只有分离开这些因素的影响,才能正确理解各指标的指示意义,从而才能正确的解读沉积物中包含的物源、构造、气候等信息。聂军胜团队近五年来围绕这一主题采用多指标综合分析和利用现代过程来辅助理解古指标记录相结合的思路取得了一系列研究成果,揭示出黄河上游和中游具有不同的物质来源并探讨了黄河泥沙与黄土高原物质来源的关系、澄清了气候和物源对黄土高原重矿物组成的影响、分离开了黄土高原红粘土磁学参数记录的降水和温度信号。近五年在Nature CommunicationsEarth Science ReviewsEPSLGRLSR等杂志发表SCI论文11篇,所有文章被Science, Nature Geoscience, Nature CommunicationsSCI杂志引用>750次,产生了较大影响。
