应兰州大学资源环境学院、西部环境教育部重点实验室陈发虎院士和周爱锋博士邀请，受国家外专局项目资助，国家高端项目专家、美国亚利桑那大学地球科学系Anthony John Timothy Jull教授来我校进行学术交流访问，并做学术报告。

报告人简介

Anthony John Timothy Jull教授，美国亚利桑那大学地球科学系教授，国际知名碳十四年代学和放射性核素研究专家，前美国亚利桑那大学加速器质谱实验室主任。主要从事地球化学、加速器、宇生放射性核素的研究，为加速器质谱在地质、古气候、古人类活动等领域的应用方面作出重要贡献。曾经测试了国际著名的都灵耶稣裹尸布和死海古卷的测年工作，开展了海洋人工核素碘129的示踪和月岩、火星陨石的碳十四研究。目前担任国际碳十四权威杂志《Radiocarbon》和《Meteoritics & Planetary Science》的主编。曾任GSA、Meteoritical society的fellow和Royal society of chemistry（UK）的Member。Anthony John Timothy Jull教授在Global and Planetary Change, Earth and Planetary Science Letters, Geochimica Cosmochimica et Acta等国际地学主流刊物发表学术论文370余篇，并参与编写出版多部专著。
