Cao Bo, Professor at Lanzhou University, doctoral supervisor, and visiting scholar at the University of Oslo, Norway. He has published more than 40 academic papers. He has received the "Shi Yafeng Cryosphere and Environmental Young Scientist Award," the "Ministry of Education's Academic Newcomer Award for Doctoral Students," the "Western Environment Award from the Key Laboratory of Western China’s Environmental Systems, Ministry of Education," the "Outstanding Instructor Award in the National Geographic Information System Application Competition," the "Outstanding Instructor Award in the China University GIS Software Development Competition," and the "Outstanding Instructor Award in the National University GIS Skills Competition." In recent years, he has led multiple national projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation’s Youth Projects, General Projects, and Key R&D Projects. He serves as a council member of the Gansu Geographical Society, secretary of the Youth Work Committee (preparatory) of the Chinese Cryospheric Science Society, a youth editorial board member of the Journal of Glaciology and Geocryology, and holds social positions such as Science and Technology Commissioner in Wuwei City.
