Cui Jiaying is an Associate Professor at the School of Earth and Environmental Sciences, Lanzhou University, and a master's supervisor. She is a member of the Circular Economy Branch of the Chinese Society for Environmental Sciences. Her research focuses on solid waste management and resource utilization technologies. She has led projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (Youth Program), the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, and the Guangdong Provincial Key Laboratory for Solid Waste Pollution Control and Resource Utilization, among others. She has published articles as the first author in journals such as Environmental Science & Technology, Science of the Total Environment, Resources Conservation and Recycling, ACS Sustainable Chemistry & Engineering, and Chemical Engineering Journal. She holds three authorized invention patents. Supported by the China Scholarship Council (CSC), she conducted a one-year joint training program at Duke University in the United States.
