Zhang Ling, Education Director at Esri China Information Technology Co., Ltd., member of the Education Working Committee of the China Geographic Information Industry Association, and council member of the Beijing Geographic Society. She graduated from the Resources and Environmental Planning and Management program at Beijing Normal University. Since 2008, she has been responsible for organizing the Esri GIS Development Competitions and Campus Tour. Over the years, she has been engaged in promoting the GIS education market, dedicated to raising awareness and understanding of GIS throughout society, and helping GIS students build confidence and interest in their major. To carry out this work, she visits several universities every year to deeply understand the learning status of GIS students, and actively participates in the recruitment of fresh graduates. She has accumulated rich experience in talent cultivation and professional employment.
