Expert Profile:
Professor Mou Naixia is a professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Geomatics, Shandong University of Science and Technology. She is also the deputy director of the Spatial Big Data Technology and Application Working Committee of the China Geographic Information Industry Association. She has led more than fifty projects, including those funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the China Postdoctoral Fund, the Shandong Provincial Natural Science Foundation, and the Shandong Provincial Educational Reform Key Projects. She has published over 70 research papers and authored or co-edited five textbooks, which are used by more than 100 universities nationwide. She has supervised over 100 graduate students. In 2015, she received the Outstanding Education Award from the International Chinese Geospatial Information Science Association (CPGIS), and in 2020, she was named a GIS Innovation Figure in Higher Education. Her current research focuses on spatiotemporal trajectory big data mining.

Social perception data, a typical form of geographic big data, has played an important role in studying human dynamics. This report will use social perception data to explore the movement behaviors of tourists. It will explain what social perception data is, its sources and characteristics, and analyze the behavioral characteristics of inbound tourists, outbound tourists, and domestic tourists from international, national, provincial, city, and scenic area scales, based on several case studies. The report will also share insights on paper topic selection, writing, and publishing, drawing from the speaker's experience with previously published articles.
