Speaker Biography:

Sun Yuanhao, PhD in Geography (Expected 2025) at Lanzhou University, College of Earth and Environmental Sciences. Dr. Sun’s research focuses on quantitative reconstruction of paleoclimate environments, land cover and human-induced land transformation. He served as PI of the Inaugural NSFC(National Natural Science Foundation of China) Fundamental Research Program for Doctoral Students and Central University’s Basic Research Fund Program. He is funded by the Youth Support Program of the China Association for Science and Technology. Dr. Sun has authored 25 peer-reviewed publications, including 8 SCI papers as First/Corresponding author in prestigious journals such asQuaternary Science Reviews,Catena, andScience China Earth Sciences. He also has served as invited reviewer for international journals includingQuaternary Science Reviews,Review of Palaeobotany and Palynology, andInternational Journal of Digital Earth.
