Speaker Biography:
Dr. Yang Jishuai, Cuiying Postdoctoral Fellow, has completed his entire academic training at Lanzhou University and was jointly supervised at the Institute of Tibetan Plateau Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences (ITP-CAS). Dr. Yang's research mainly focuses on environmental archaeology and the application of stable isotope techniques in the reconstruction of ancient agricultural systems. Dr. Yang has authored 22 peer-reviewed publications, including 8 SCI-indexed papers as First/Corresponding author in prestigious journals such as Nature Sustainability Cover Article and Highlight Article, Nature Ecology & Evolution, Journal of Archaeological Science, Quaternary Science Reviews. He is PI of the Postdoctoral Innovative Talent Support Program (ITSP Program) and NSFC (National Natural Science Foundation of China) Young Scientists Fund Program. He is also 2022 Recipient of the "Western Environment Award - Graduate Innovation Award", Key Laboratory for Western China's Environmental Systems, Ministry of Education, Lanzhou University.
