The selection activity was centered on the core concept of "Teaching a Course Well", with a carefully planned selection process. It began with a broad selection based on student evaluations at the end of the term, followed by scoring from department heads, deputy department heads, class teachers, and student representatives. Ultimately, 13 instructors were selected from numerous outstanding teachers to participate in the defense. During the defense session, the participating teachers displayed their unique styles through brilliant on-site teaching demonstrations. They explained professional knowledge in simple terms, guided thinking through clever case studies, or vividly displayed teaching content using multimedia means, fully demonstrating solid basic teaching skills and unique teaching styles.

The judges, with professional perspectives and rigorous attitudes, exchanged in-depth opinions and provided detailed comments to the participating teachers from multiple dimensions, including course syllabus design, introduction of course content, application of classroom teaching models, innovation in course assessment methods, and the clever integration of artificial intelligence in classroom teaching in the digital intelligence era. They affirmed the highlights and characteristics of the teachers' instruction while also offering valuable suggestions for improvement, pointing out the direction for future teaching enhancement.

This event not only built a broad platform for undergraduate teachers to showcase themselves and exchange learning but was also an important measure for the School to actively implement the spirit of "promoting construction, reform, management, and strength through assessment" and to solidly and orderly promote the implementation of the 2023 version of the professional talent training plan.
