At the invitation of the Western China's Environment and Ecological Security Think Tank and the Think Tank of the Institute of Qingzang Plateau Humanistic Environment, Lanzhou University, Researcher Liu Xiaojie from the Key Laboratory of Resource Utilization and Environmental Remediation, Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences, visited our university for academic exchange and delivered a lecture on September 9, 2025.

Liu Xiaojie is the Deputy Director, a researcher, doctoral supervisor, and chief scientist of the National Key R&D Program at the Key Laboratory of Resource Utilization and Environmental Remediation, Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences. She is also an adjunct professor at Lanzhou University and the chief scientist of the Western China's Environment and Ecological Security Think Tank. She has presided over more than 20 projects, including National Key R&D Program projects, general and key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and key deployment project topics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. As the first or corresponding author, she has published over 60 papers in SCI/SSCI/CSSCI journals, including top journals such as Nature FoodOne EarthEnvironmental Science & Technology, and Resources, Conservation and Recycling. She has authored more than 50 consultation reports, which have received over 20 endorsements from national and provincial or ministerial leaders.
