Reporter Profile:
Long Hao is a distinguished researcher, a professor at the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS), and a doctoral supervisor at the Nanjing Institute of Geography and Limnology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He primarily engages in research in the fields of physical geography, lake evolution, and climate and environmental change. He has published over 130 papers in leading academic journals such as Science, The Innovation, Nature Communications, Science Bulletin, Earth-Science Reviews, and Earth and Planetary Science Letters. He obtained his bachelor's and master's degrees in geography from Lanzhou University in 2003 and 2006, respectively, and his Ph.D. in geochemistry from the Graduate University of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2011. He has received academic titles such as the German "Humboldt Scholar" and "Excellent Member" of the Youth Innovation Promotion Association of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. He serves as a committee member of the Geochronological Technology Branch of the Geographical Society of China, a committee member of the Stratigraphy and Chronology Committee of the China Association for Quaternary Research, and as an editorial board member or academic editor for journals including The Innovationand others.
